Hi welcome to this new section of enlightenment!
WtU will post here videos, music, writings or any form of art and knowledge that are mostly inspiring to us and contribute to the positive vibrations that we are working on! And we like to share them inspirations with you!
For this time, we’ve got to present you to “United Vibrations” a band, we’ve discovered in July by browsing the web for afro beat and that we’ve immediately fell in love with. But, somehow got forgotten about…until the Mook re-discovered them on the line up for the Seun Kuti & Egypt 80 gig at the Kazimier last week.

And since then ‘No Space No Time’ has been stuck in WtU’s ears and constant ‘Infinite eternal existence” shouts are following our lives 
“INFINITE ETERNAL EXISTENCE *horn riff*” YEAAH …sorry couldn’t stop myself singing it now haha

WOOO!!! Fully recovered from the EP Launch…we’ve been busy with practicing for recording our new single ‘Wastelife’ and preparing our set for 3rd Degree Festival at LIPA, 7th April!
Thanks again to everyone who was involved with the EP Launch and for making it such a special night for us all =) Videos of the event will be up spooooon…promise…we’re really busy making music at the moment!
So what’s new?
We uploaded the LYRICS and songs of our EP on our myspace.com, bandcamp.com and reverbnation.com for you! YES YOU! …because we had requests from people who wanted to sing along at gigs but didnt know the words! And were like:” Awww maan!” So this won’t happen again 
Oh yeah this my favourite line in the set: “You say this is the straight life, we say this a wastelife…wOAAAB!” That song isn’t on the EP but will be the single – look out summer! – Final mixing session on that song is before the showcase…there might be a chance for all the funkateers to get an exclusive download of that newest recording via the mailing list. I am snapstring* and I have been given access to this blog to add stuff from my perspective as one of WtU’s singers.
I thought I’d start by correcting a little potential misunderstanding – some people have seen our promo photo’s and our logo and have come away thinking we are a religious Christian band of some sort. That’s not really what we’re trying to say…we use an Ankh ☥ as our symbol, not a crucifix. The Ankh is an ancient Egyptian symbol for eternal life, and WtU do our bestest to create funky music for humanity to feel alive to, both in the mind and in the ass.
So, wave your Ankhs in the air. Come see WtU. Here endeth the lesson.
