Last year at the Mathew Street Festival 2010, WtU played a sweaty acoustic set for a few folks upstairs at the Zanzibar in that truly sunny summer afternoon. Before and after, we got to admire the sets of Connie Lush and Picture Book at the Williamson’ s Square stage.

FOR FREE! And if you like bring your colourful shades, hats, boots and let the place shine in red, green and yellow to celebrate the festival vibe!!
October 2010! So this is gonna be a slighlty longer post as usual
Let’s rewind We, the Undersigned played 5 gigs in October! 3 were amazing, 1 was fun and 1 we don’t ever to mention it again
Best one so far in WtU life was the main support slot for Youngblood Brass Band! AAA!! Thanks to to the official 84 people who according to the door came to see…but we sure there were more we were able to get more people started to wiggle that night! Thanks to our friends who wacked out/shared the bubbles during the gig was fun to see and a great thing to enjoy.
How about including that deffinitive in our set and WtU organizing a propper one? hmmm…maybe? Yeah?…Come to our gigs so we can raise money for a propper bubble machine
Here a few quotes from people:
“Great arrangement of the brass, sounded really structured and full” Fredo
“What a gig” Ste P
“Never heard you before last night, but was effing amazing!!!” Adam K
But my favourite sentence still is when Youngblood Brass Band were on stage and he said “This next song is for our friends We, the Undersigned” I think he added something else as well but due to the free beer I’ve got that night I can’t really remember but We, the Undersigned are now official friends with Youngblood Brass Band! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
BOOM! Yeah let’s come to the little downside of that gig…There’s always a little bit of adrama before a great show …Soundcheck run really late…but we were able to see Youngblood Soundcheck…best thing ever!!!!!!! WOO! Those guys are amazing if you don’t know ‘em yet…you check them deffo out NOW! POW
Okay finally like 3 hours after we were asked to show up the masque was ready to allow us to set up and soundcheck for 15 minutes…Collen dislocated his shoulder…AAAAA! Put yeah he put it back where it was supposed to…all good again Still with the little soundcheck we had…we had little issues on hearing ourselves and each other on stage…so we just blasted it out and…it worked POW! And yeah note for the next gig: Organize an a soundguy who knows who we like to sound ;-D
So whoever missed that gig you can watch it online!
And the people who were there and wondering what the songs were that we played….tadaa here’s the set list

To made it more halloweenish we opened the set with the main theme of Phantom of the Operaaaaaaa muhaha going in to No Hope for Love. And the people who were there and were like what was that weird thing the devil playing a solo on. Ladies and Gentlemen that was an EWI…electric wind instrument or as I called it in soundcheck my weird electric sax thing ;P
